Local 825 Training Fund

The Local 825 Training Fund was established for the exclusive purpose of providing a program of apprenticeship training and retraining for operating engineers and to pay for the costs of administering the program.

Overview

Your skills will keep you in demand

Local 825 invests in you by providing two state of the art training facilities, the latest equipment, and seasoned Operating Engineers to help make you the best at what you do.

We prepare members through apprenticeship and skills-upgrade programs. We provide you with the training you need to obtain the certification(s) required before you can operate heavy equipment.

Operating Engineers are masters of a variety of equipment. A broad range of skills keeps IUOE members in demand, since employers' needs vary from project to project.

Full-time, on-location instructors provide everything from heavy equipment operator training, training in emergency response, hazardous waste operations and OSHA requirements to keep contractors supplied year-round with safe, skilled, and efficient operators.
